In the second quarter of 2024, the Shoot'em Up gaming category on the Android platform has shown a variety of trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, according to the latest data from Sensor Tower.

Starting with Zombie.io - Potato Shooting, revenue peaked in early May at approximately $700K, followed by a slight decrease, stabilizing around $150K towards the end of June. Downloads showed a downward trend from 74K in late April to 17K by late June. Weekly active users hit a high of 105K in early May but declined to 44K by the end of the quarter.

Habby's SSSnaker saw its revenue fluctuating, with a notable peak of $252K in mid-May, but it fell to $54K by late June. Interestingly, the game had no new downloads reported after mid-April, suggesting a shift in the publisher's strategy or market dynamics. The weekly active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 289K to 242K throughout the quarter.

Fun Formula's Zombie Waves experienced a revenue high of $218K in late April, but this figure dropped significantly to $8K by late June. Downloads saw a slight increase in late May, reaching 31K, but dipped back down to 14K by the end of June. Weekly active users started at 47K, peaked at 72K in early June, and then slightly decreased to 59K.

For Azur Lane by Yostar Limited, there was a notable revenue spike to $165K in late May, after which it settled around $55K by late June. No new downloads were recorded throughout the quarter, and weekly active users showed a minor decline from 31K to 24K.

Lastly, Survivor.io also published by Habby, saw revenue oscillate, with a significant increase to $181K in late May before dropping to $17K by the end of June. Downloads peaked at 27K in late May, with a gradual decline to 10K by late June. Weekly active users showed a peak of 226K mid-quarter but decreased to 162K by the quarter's close.
